- It doesn't permanently change any of the things you mention. It changes your metabolism, which regulates the rest. Proper diet and exercise go a long way in reversing the effects of obesity. If not no one could successfully lose weight and keep it off. Thousands upon thousands have.

- What a sad and pathetic statement that makes about us. That some are more concerned about the color of a person's skin than about the content of his character. I don't have a problem with those that have a reason to oppose President Obama based on his policy's and/or his ability to implement them.

- I am Catholic but I feel as if "The Church" as the Holy See and Pope wish it to be defined has abandoned me. Perhaps they should revisit Christ's teachings. Seems to me he was a political and religious activist.

- Not all vets feel that way. I too am a veteran and served under individuals that I did not always agree with Both military and political. But as a proud American, I respect the rank and the office and always show that respect.

- Why doesn't it surprise me that Bonner County has someone like him in law enforcement. I grew up in Bonner County. Do not EVER remember seeing anyone of color in our town with one exception. And it was something I will never forget but wish I could.
